Integrative Nutritionist

Xonna Clark, MS, CNS, LDN, believes in nutritional counseling from an integrative/functional approach that combines science and tradition to seek root causes, including nutritional deficiencies, and uses food for the mind, body and spirit as remedies. Her primary tools are food as medicine, botanical herbs, dietary supplements and lifestyle mindfulness practices. ‘Real food first’ is the foundation of her nutritional care, and her focus is results; she has even helped to reverse diabetes in less than 40 days.

Xonna is a graduate of Maryland University of Integrative Health, the Natural Gourmet Institute for Food and Healing, and the Academy of Culinary Nutrition.  She is a licensed nutritionist, herbalist, health coach, and natural foods chef.  At CHI Health Care, she speaks at wellness workshops, such as Physicians’ Kitchens, the aCHIeve weight loss program, and the Stress Management and Sleep workshops.  She is a guest lecturer at the Maryland University of Integrative Health, and writes for various organizations. Additionally, she has been an exam writer for the Certification Board of Nutrition Specialists and is a member of the Maryland Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the National Association of Nutrition Professionals, and the American Herb Guild.
